Surviving Indian Summer: Swim, Stretch & Walk Your Way Out!

When the outside temperature is basically “tawa-on-high-flame,” and stepping out feels like being slow-roasted for someone else’s biryani, fitness can feel… optional.

But worry not! Here’s your cool, and practical guide to staying active this Indian summer - without melting like butter in March, April & May.

Swimming is the ultimate Indian summer workout.

Why? Because water is basically AC you can exercise in.

Why Swimming works:

Full-body workout – Your arms, legs, lungs, and dignity (when you slip on the pool stairs) all get exercised.

Zero impact – Great for all ages. Even your grandfather will secretly enjoy it.

Natural coolant – Unlike your cooler, the swimming pool does not require a bucket of water every two hours.

Make it fun:

Race your kids.

Race strangers.

Race no one and still tell everyone you came first.

Tip-Wear sunscreen. Trust me, coming out looking like a burnt papad is not a fitness milestone.
