The Andhra Pradesh government has reassured citizens that there is no shortage of LPG in the state, putting an end to concerns about possible supply disruptions. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated clearly that the situation is under control and that people need not worry about the availability of cooking gas.
He explained that the state currently has sufficient LPG reserves to meet ongoing demand. Along with the existing stock, additional supplies are being managed efficiently to ensure that households and businesses continue to receive gas without any interruption. The government’s focus remains on maintaining a steady and reliable supply chain across all regions.
To avoid any confusion or unnecessary fear, N. Chandrababu Naidu urged the public not to believe in rumors or engage in panic buying. He pointed out that hoarding cylinders can create artificial shortages and put pressure on the distribution system. Instead, citizens have been advised to trust the system and use LPG responsibly.
Officials across the state have been directed to closely monitor the distribution process. Special attention is being given to ensure that gas reaches every district on time, especially to essential sectors such as hospitals, hostels, and small businesses that depend heavily on regular supply. The administration is also taking strict steps to prevent misuse or illegal diversion of LPG cylinders.
The government is not only focusing on the present situation but also working towards strengthening the future energy framework. Efforts are being made to expand the reach of piped natural gas and encourage alternative fuel options. These steps aim to reduce dependency on LPG cylinders and create a more sustainable and efficient energy system in the long run.
Although there have been minor concerns raised in some areas, officials have clarified that these are temporary and do not reflect the overall situation. The state continues to maintain a stable supply, backed by proper planning and coordination with suppliers.
The Chief Minister’s assurance has helped restore confidence among the public, emphasizing that there is no reason for alarm. With sufficient stock, active monitoring, and preventive measures in place, Andhra Pradesh is well-prepared to meet LPG demand without any major disruption.
